Choose Energy was founded in 2005 as a division of Priority Power Management (PPM) with a vision to offer an unbiased choice in Texas electricity companies. Consumers can do simple comparison shopping and electricity providers can bid on their business.

Residential and business customers now have a simple way to compare offers made by different Texas electricity companies and switch to their choice of preferred provider in just a few clicks. Choose Energy, created by energy professionals, gives consumers the power to save money on electricity while making educated choices based on accurate, up-to-date, comparable information.

While Choose Energy helps residential and business customers, PPM provides professional electricity management consultation to commercial, industrial and municipal clients as a licensed Aggregator by the PUCT (No. 80011). Since its establishment by industry veterans in January 2001, PPM has procured and managed in excess of $800 million in power and natural gas and has procured over 850 MW of load in the ERCOT market.

With over 200 years of combined energy experience, PPM has become the largest commercial buyer of retail energy in Texas. In fact, thirty-three of the Top 100 oil and gas producers in Texas have relied on Priority Power Management to manage their power requirements.
