Hudson Energy Services joins ChooseEnergy.com with lowest prices yet

Choose Energy signed up Hudson Energy Services to offer competitive power plans with big savings for Texas consumers, the energy marketing website firm said yesterday.

Hudson Energy Services offers the lowest rates in the market and it certainly has the best prices on ChooseEnergy.com, the website’s General Manager Jerry Dyess told us yesterday.

Hudson is a technologically oriented firm – and it let Choose Energy synchronize its computers with Hudson’s to give the customers instant feedback with they sign up.

That rapid response is moving ChooseEnergy.com towards its goal of having all firms that offer plans on its website be synchronized.

Hudson isn’t alone in offering good deals after a mild summer and falling natural gas prices caused power to sink in value.

The price in the Dallas area are around 11.3¢/kWh when only a month ago they were up to 12.4¢/kWh, said Dyess.

Fall usually brings about a downturn in prices but this year it’s happening early.

Consumers tend to shop more in the summer since that’s when bills rise.

Moderate prices in the fall tend to mitigate the customer ire that often drives shopping, said Dyess.
