Delmarva Power delivers electricity to over 500,000 customers in Delaware and eastern Maryland and natural gas to 126,000 homes and businesses in northern Delaware. In Maryland, Delmarva's service area includes the counties of Harford, Cecil, Kent, Queen Annes, Talbot, Caroline, Dorchester, Somerset, Worcester, and Wicomico.

Delmarva "Price to Compare"

Customers in Delmarva’s service area who do not purchase electricity from an independent electric supplier will receive “Standard Offer Service” (SOS) with rates set by the Maryland Public Service Commission. These rates are your “Prices to Compare.” You can use them as a comparison tool to help you decide if you can save money by choosing another supplier. If another supplier’s price per kilowatt hour is lower than the “Price to Compare,” you can save the difference per kilowatt hour by switching to that supplier. Typically, the "Standard Offer Service" rate is higher than what you can find if you shop around with independent suppliers.

These rates include only the cost of producing the electricity. There are additional costs for delivering the energy, which will remain the same whether you sign up with an energy supplier or not. To report power outages or downed power lines, you should call Delmarva's customer service line at the number listed above. Delmarva Power 2 Center Dr North East, MD 21901 800-375-7117
