UGI Central Penn natural gas rates
Residential and commercial customers that do not sign up with an independent natural gas supplier will receive a default plan from UGI Central Penn. This plan is authorized by the Pennsylvania Public Utilities Commission, the department responsible for regulating utilities.
UGI Central Penn customers can check out suppliers that offer natural gas plans in their area and find one with better rates.
These prices change quarterly and include both the cost of the gas itself and the cost of delivering it to your home or business.
UGI Central Penn "Price to Compare"
These rates are your “Price to Compare,” which can help you decide whether to switch energy suppliers. With the Price to Compare, you'll be able to tell exactly how much money you'll save by switching from the utility's plan to one offered by an independent energy supplier. If the supplier's rates beat the utility's "Price to Compare," you can save the difference by switching to that supplier.
These rates include only the cost of producing the electricity. There are additional costs for delivering the energy, which will remain the same whether you sign up with an energy supplier or not.
No matter your who provides your natural gas, you should report hazards and gas leaks to UGI Central Penn Gas at the number listed above.
