The Tesla Model 3 dominates U.S. EV sales.

The Tesla Model 3 continued to dominate U.S. electric and hybrid car sales in May 2019, according to InsideEVs.com. More than half of the electric vehicles sold during the month were Tesla 3s. The next highest selling EV or hybrid was the Toyota Prius Prime

Sales of pure EVs and hybrids were up 11.7 percent in May compared with the same month of 2018. Contrast that with sales of new U.S. autos overall, which were down about 1.8 percent for the month compared with the prior year, according to MarkLines.com.
