Moving or transferring your 4Change Energy service
If you’re moving, you may be able to keep your 4Change Energy plan. Here’s what to know:
- Moving within 4Change’s service area? Call 4Change customer service a couple of weeks before your move and give them your new address. However, if you forget to do this in advance, you can request same-day electricity service.
- Moving outside 4Change’s service area? You can cancel your plan (without paying a fee) and sign up for a new one through Choose Energy. To explore your options, enter your ZIP code on this page.
Cancellation fees and satisfaction guarantee
4Change Energy charges early termination fees (ETFs) if you cancel a fixed-rate plan or switch providers before the contract is up. The ETF costs $20 per remaining month on your contract. Keep in mind that this fee doesn’t apply if you’re moving out of the 4Change electricity service area.
In addition, 4Change Energy offers a 60-day satisfaction guarantee on its electricity plans. This agreement lets you switch to a different plan or provider within the first 60 days after enrollment — without paying a fee.
