Moving or switching your Octopus Energy service
If you’re moving homes, you may be able to keep your Octopus Energy plan. Here’s what you need to know:
- Moving within Octopus Energy’s service area? If you are moving to a location still within Octopus’ service area, you can keep your plan. Contact Octopus a few weeks before your move to transfer your service to your new home.
- Moving outside Octopus Energy’s service area? If you move to a location where Octopus does not operate, you’ll have to cancel your plan and switch providers. Fortunately, you won’t be charged a cancellation fee in this scenario. Once you provide proof of move-out, your supplier will waive the ETF.
