Energy Suppliers

Compare electricity providers

If you’re new to deregulation, or the ability to choose your energy provider, you might be confused about terms such as suppliers and utilities. While more than 13 states allow you to buy electricity and/or natural gas from competitive energy suppliers, the concept can be confusing. Choose Energy can help you understand deregulation and master it!

First, those terms:

Suppliers They sell you the energy you use to power your fridge and turn on your lights. They're also called providers and energy service companies (abbreviated as ESCO), depending on your region.
Utilities In deregulated states, they take the energy from the supplier and deliver it to your door. Have an outage, call your utility - not your supplier.

How Choose Energy can help

Evaluating plans can feel overwhelming – when you don’t use We deal only with top suppliers, get great rates from them, and show you plans in an easy-to-understand way. No teaser rates. No hidden fees. No gobbledygook.
